So summer is upon us and we're all still in our winter suits. Do we get winter waves? ATLANTIC COAST: A glorious celebration of flatness until Friday and Saturday when we will see a small pulse of offshore surf. You might even say summer surf! That looks likely to be a pretty small swell with it's peak on Friday. ENGLISH CHANNEL: The pulse in swell on Friday looks like it might get up the channel too as that low swings south (not a very low, low by the time it benefits us mind). Winds look to be light NE so there is a chance that some of the South Devon magnets and most exposed spots in the far West of Cornwall could have a wave. No chance of this swell getting further up than Bantham though and it might not actually show up on the south coast at all. NORTH EAST: Firing all week! Tons of swell around although chased by moderate to strong northerly winds so the trick will be finding shelter. Not a problem for those in the know. lightest winds are at the back end of the week. Air and sea temps are at a balmy 11 celcius too so it's boardshorts and rashies all round!

Bleddy one day that looks worth a schnoobert is Friday and I think I'm off on a trek to some bleddy skate park. I'll have to hope enough gets in for high tide South Coast first light.
