Just thinking back to un-trimmed fins, the tip does whip on these. I cut it off because I didn't like that but Kovert has kept his as Deets intended.

Second pair of Batman UDeeTs.

Drainage holes too.

Cut my thumb.

Worth it though. [smile]

Keep toying with trimming mine down but at the moment I'm happy as is although the drainage holes I think are a must! Will be doing that one asap!

I'm gonna be adding more holes at the top on Warren P's advice. Obvious when you think about it, but the top is on the bottom when you're finning.

Bigger holes and more holes. Top and bottom. Not quite as symmetrical as I would like but OK. Function over form.

Final mod:

Rubber dye. I'm not sure if this is anything other than paint so may be temporary make up!

I think the patchiness is salt and I scrubbed these in fresh water. Just goes to show.

50 good dunks or a thorough hosing for your mats kids. The salt will get right into the weave.

One surf in... Rubber "dye" my arse. It's paint! Anyway, how many surfs till they're back to new?

Look nice though I think. Like some Bronze Age relic.

or a large amount of tar has washed up! Plastidip may work, basically rubber paint in a can. Comes in a few Colours now and is pretty tough.

This stuff is a rubberised paint so like adding another layer of rubber rather than a paint for rubber if that makes sense??!!!
