And you were complaining about the "colorways" of the green/brown UDeeTs...

Do you have to wear 6mm diving-booties or mil-grade boots for those, or why don't they work with a mat?

They don't have any strakes (rails) so don't give hold and splash around on the surface a lot. Great when you're in the water but not so good on it.

I know what you mean re 'on the water', but all fins are useless when they're out of the water.
(Watched a sponger splash around today, coz the body wasn't far enough in the water and the kicking technique was plain stupid)

Never really thought about the strakes, ribs etc., though.

Had those Force-Fins on my radar a while back, but I'll stick to the UDeeTs for matting.

What I mean is, they are on the soles of your feet rather than a continuation of your foot so even when your feet are in the water the fins might not be. The design is great for snorkeling though. Use your whole leg and get loads of drive.
