Love this, just been looking back through a lot of the work posted up here. My creative juices have been flowing about as much as there is swell on the south coast ie little to none!!

Work been sucking it dry, few projects in mind though just need that little urge. Keep the good stuff flowing [smile]

Finished a set of linocuts a few weeks back. Only test prints to show as yet. More tweaking to source a better quality paper than I can find here and to sort out some issues with the ink. This has a big impact on the print quality so remains an irritation. I'm building a printing press with the help of a mate over here which will certainly carry things well forward.

Hey there. The fish and his mate just made me smile the whole way though. Colouring still frustrates me and is still the longest part of a project. I guess it's an areas I could spend a little more reading and applying.
The urge..? The muse...? It seems I can go weeks, sometimes months without much inclination to draw something out. When it hits though, ahh, nothing much else gets done until it's finished!

For sure, played around with all sorts of stock all with very different results! These guys supply some good stuff at reasonable prices: http://www.greatart.co.uk/Papers/Specialised-and-Recommended-Papers/Printmaking-papers/ or if feeling flush: http://store.bookbinding.co.uk/store/category/95/451/Washi-for-Art-%26-Printmaking-/

Funnily enough I have found another medium which ticks pretty much all of my boxes, something new coming soon! Keep up the good work.

Did you manage to source any other stock to try?
