Other than matsurfing and the day job, I'm trained in several stonemasonry disciplines -monumental carving, banker, lettercutting - ( makes me one of "The Dust" as the old timers used to say [wink]). I still dabble from time to time.

Here's a shot of a solid cube of Derbyshire limestone that I'm turning into a concept bird bath under Alison's artistic direction. It will be sat on a charred oak plinth when finished.

Thanks! Nice to be getting back into it after being out of the game for a while. I'm focusing more on the conceptual stuff now, with more of a minimalist flavour. Lettering is not really my bag anymore. Pretty much just carving for kicks now and avoiding client-side work (and all the bull that comes with it [sleep])
